Gunner Novel

Gunner Novel – I had no idea why people found riding a bike so enthralling. Until I met him, an MC who fascinated me. I lean forward and press my lips to his. His hands come sharply down on my hip, the sound of it echoes in the small room and I moan loudly with no cares. “Drill me!” I whisper into his ear, and he groans as he moves even faster until I find myself been dropped on to a bed.

Music was blasting through the small corner speakers, people dancing on the small crowded dance floor. If you could call that dancing more like stripping, I could not keep my eyes off them. They had more confidence in their little finger than I did in my whole body. Don’t get me wrong I was no prude or anything, I was up for a good time as much as the next person but that was way past my borders. I still found myself ogling them tho, my best friend Jade had dragged me into this pub. She had someone she wanted to meet even if I had dug my heels into the dirt as I tried my best to fight against her five-foot seven, 160 pound frame. As her long pink pained finger nails dug into the skin at my wrist. Now I found myself kind of liking the idea of been here. The beat of the rock music playing brought out a crazy side to me.

My hips moved from side to side as I sang along to the song playing. Caught in my own little world as I closed my eyes and sipped on my beer through a straw. I had long-lost sight of Jade soon as we made it to the bar she had been dragged off by the rugged looking bartender into one of the back rooms. That was normal for me tho and been by myself was something I did not mind. I was always more of a solitary person anyway. Turning around, so I faced the bar again I placed my beer bottle onto the bar table.

It was half filled but it was slightly warm not my favorite way to drink a beer. Digging through my purse I tried to find some money out to pay for a new drink. “What can I get you?” Still looking through my purse I found a twenty and plucked it out smiling “vodka soda.” I smiled sweetly at the tall bartender he raised his brows at me and pointed up towards a board that said with bold letters no vodka. Frowning I nibbled on my bottom lip, what kinda bar does not have vodka. “Ok erm, how about whiskey coke?” I questioned, he nodded his head as he bent down to grab a glass. As he bent down my eyes caught sight of emerald green ones. They looked back towards me through a mirror that was plastered on the back of the bar.

I felt my insides jump as I looked him over, he was the biggest and most appealing thing I’ve ever lay my eyes on, and he was looking at me. Hairs on the back of my neck were standing up on end and I found myself rubbing my thighs together to ease my aching core. The connection between us was broken as the bartender returned with my drink “on the house.” He replied as his eyes stayed on my chest, he openly looked at my cleavage, with no shame. He was good-looking if you had a thing for the boy next door look but it was not for me. But I smiled sweetly at him as I sipped on my new drink. He winked at me as he walked away to serve someone else. “Hay there you are” Jade come to my side as she waved her hands up in the air like a manic. “I saw the look Liam just gave you, I can put in a good word for you if you like?” At first, I had no idea who she was talking about.

But then when she looked over towards the bartender that was currently looking my way as he talked to Mr rugged guy, I shook my head. “Na, not my type” she nudged me with her elbow making a little of my drink spill out of the glass and over my hand. “Oh come on he’s got a shaft and two balls just have fun.” My cheeks flame red, she still manages to shock me even tho I knew what she was like. Shaking my head violently from side to side I looked towards her as she pouted. “Girl you need to move on from him” she whispered as she leaned in towards me. That’s when my happy mood from earlier faded, Simon. I had tried my best to forget about him but it was difficult when you work in the same building.

Trying my best to hide my sadness I smiled weakly at her “I know, I’m working on it” I reply as I take another sip from my drink hoping she would just drop the subject of my ex. “Best way to move on is to spend a wild night with a new guy, Liam looks more than willing” she winks as she nudged me again. Causing more of my drink to spill over I groan towards her placing my now empty glass on the counter. “Jade please not tonight” searching back through my bag I grab a tissue I had been storing inside for my bad days. Trying my best to mop up the sticky liquid from my hand. “Hay beautiful” I hear a deep voice and my head shoots up. Mr rugged is standing behind Jade with his arms wrapped around her as he whispered stuff into her ear. She laughs as her cheeks slightly blush and the sight of it all makes me feel slightly uncomfortable.

“Emma this is, Tank, Tank this is Emma, my best friend.” I smile towards him as I outstretched my non-sticky hand “nice to meet you.” I say as he takes my hand in his but instead of shaking it like I expected him too he pulls it up towards his lips and smooches the back of it winking at me. I smile as best as I can as I remove my hand from his. Jade just laughs at my face, maybe I did not hide my distaste good enough. “Don’t mind him he thinks he’s a ladies man” she laughs as he growls pulling her body closer to his. “Me and the guys were just heading back over to the clubhouse, this place is too PG for us, are you coming?” I don’t fail to notice the way he grinds his hips against my best friends hip. I watch in horror as she moans openly “yeah, but Emma.” She doesn’t get to finish her sentence as he turns her around picking her up.

“Liam can give her a ride” my jaw drops to the floor as he throws her over his shoulder slapping his hand down on her hip. I follow them with my eyes as he marches towards the door of the pub with Jade laughing like a hyena. “Ready to get out of here” I hear a voice say to my left as I turn my head around to look at Liam. “I think I’m just going to head home” I smile towards him as I reach behind me to grab my jacket. When I turn back around he’s still standing there looking a little awkward as he scratches the back of his neck. “Can give you a ride if you like” he winks towards me as he recovers fast from my obvious rejection. He seemed sweet enough but, it was not for me, so I waved his offer away. “It’s cool I will just call a cab” at this point I can see he’s about to reply so I make the only move I can think of and start walking. Well half run towards the exit. As I made my way outside I come to a complete stop causing Liam to bump into my back. I stumbled forward almost landing flat on my face but his hands shot out wrapping around my waist as he steadies me on my feet.

I was shocked by the sight in front of me. “Easy there, you are ok” Liam says as he releases me from his hold. I blush furiously as I try to steady my racing heartbeat. “Yeah sorry about that” I laugh as I turn my eyes away from the line of bikers that sit waiting outside the bar. What cause me to pause was the fact that on the back of one of those bikers bikes was my best friend. Turning my eyes back over to Liam, I swallowed when I noticed the jacket he wore, it read prospect on the front of it. That was the precise moment two more bikers walked out of the pub. One happened to be the man from earlier who I caught looking at me, he was even bigger up close. He slapped Liam on the shoulder as he walked past him. “Come on Lefty, I want to get back to the clubhouse” he looked at me as he walked past his eyes shining with some unknown emotion as them emerald orbs looked through to my soul. My mouth felt dry as I tried to swallow, only managed to peel my eyes away from his when he turned away from me. “You sure about that ride” I faintly heard Liam say to me as I tried my best to ease the ache between my legs.

I only managed to make some pathetic noise escape my mouth that sounded very similar to a strangled cat. Clearing my throat I turn my full attention towards him as I nod my head “yeah I’m sure.” He looks slightly disappointed, but he nods his head towards me before he smiles “well maybe I will see you around” he winks before he walks off again heading over towards the others. I was still in shock as I watch him mount onto his own bike. How did Jade know these guys. I have known her for most of my life and I had no idea she was hanging around with this crowd. I needed to sit down with her and explain to her what damage her actions could do. Don’t get me wrong I’m normally not one to judge but I’ve seen it first hand, been a nurse at the local hospital.

The amount of people that have been admitted due to MC violence was beyond crazy. I was really starting to worry about my best friends safety. But what hit me the most was how carefree she was as I watched her ride away on the back of his bike with him. She never once looked my way, a pang of hurt ran through me at the realization that the Jade I thought I knew was not the Jade I had just witnessed. Walking over to a nearby bench I sat down on it as I searched through my bag again for what felt like the 100 time that night. I needed to find my phone, I also needed to organize my stuff better. Listening to the endless stream of bikes pealing away from the bar I tried my best to zone them out. So I did not spend all night worrying about my friend. Finally, my hands touched something hard and rectangular pulling my phone out of my bag I hit the home button and nothing happened.

Trying again I waited for the bight lights of my home screen to flash with life but nothing. “Oh no!” cursing under my breath I closed my eyes as I ran my fingers through my light brown curly hair. My battery had died and now I was left stranded in the middle of nowhere at god knows what time. “Looks like you’re in need of a ride after all” the deep voice made me jump as my head shot up and my hand automatically went into my purse for my pepper spray. That’s when them emerald eyes shined in the dull light, he smirked towards me. I thought they had all left, looking back towards the once long line of bikers I was correct they had all left but him.
