It’ll take about a week to deliver, though, so you’ll need to pack your bags if you’re moving in right away.” Tessa glanced at the business card he handed her and slipped it into her bag. Before leaving, she reminded him softly, “I don’t want anyone else to know about this.” Satisfied with his nod of agreement, she left. Tessa had made up her mind.

She would disappear to a place where no one could find her and never come back. After thinking it through, this cruise ship was the perfect choice. No one would ever guess she’d hide on the sea for the rest of her life. This time, she was setting off alone.

Just then, her phone rang. Ryan’s name flashed on the screen. “Babe, we’re having a gathering with the pack tonight. Don’t forget.” “Where are you? I’ll come pick you up.” Hearing the concerned tone on the other end of the line made Tessa feel nauseous.

She had only recently discovered, by accident, that Ryan’s true love had always been Chloe, not her.
