The Unknown Heir Novel – The day I was about to tell my mate Toby I was pregnant, I saw him having intercourse with my sister. When I arrived at Toby’s door, I could smell my sister’s scent in addition to his. I was confused. I lightly knocked on his door and I heard him panting “Not now I am busy.” When his door opened I saw Ashley on top of him, both undressed, sweaty, moaning messes. She removed herself from his manhood and he got up wrapping a sheet around him. He looked at me in disgust, “Ashley is my true mate, you are nothing to me, I Alpha Toby McAllister, reject you Tatianna Quinn, and I hear by banish you from the Black Water Falls Pack.” I endured the pain and turned away. Finally, my Eighteenth birthday. I am so excited I have been waiting for this day forever, the day I can finally start searching for my mate and begin my future. Ava is also excited we can finally find our mate. She was the one who woke me up about five in the morning to get dressed and look as charming as possible just in case. First mom always cooks the birthday child’s favorite breakfast, so this morning I knew we would be having chocolate chip pancakes, scrambled eggs with bacon and cheese on top. My absolute favorite. We then go to the place of my choosing it is my birthday after all. Then we go out to a fancy dinner and then for eighteenth birthdays there would be a big bon fire party with the pack to celebrate. When I entered the dining room I seen my brother Dean and sister Ashley already seated and my father also seated.
I walked up and gave him a peck on the cheek, “Morning papa.” “Morning birthday girl, you ready for today?” I nodded and took my seat. “Yeah sis, what are our plans for today?” Dean was just as excited as I was. We of course were closer to each other than Ashley. Ever since she was sixteen she always acted better than us and like we were just trash but we did not let that phase us. We still always have a good time spite her. “Well little brother, I thought about us going to Wild Wonderland today.” He instantly shot his fist in the air screaming “Yes”. Which I agreed Wild Wonderland was one of the largest amusement parks in America. Ashley just rolled her eyes and started eating her breakfast. “How did I know that you would pick that today?” mother said as she sat down at the table. “Because you are my mother and you know me best.”
I smiled at her as I shoved a fork full of pancakes in my mouth. The chocolate was like heaven on my taste buds. She was an amazing cook that was for sure. “Happy birthday baby, also we will be going to Deliziosa for dinner tonight.” “Oh my gosh yes I love that place, I love Italian.” She chuckled at my excitement. Breakfast was finally finished and mother announced it was time to load up and head to the amusement park. Ashley groaned “Why do I have to go, I am nineteen and I have better things to do.” Mom began to lecture her about family when my brother and I raced to the car. We were at the park for about six hours, and we were wore out. After eating at my favorite restaurant I fell asleep on our way home. When I woke up it was right on time. We were finally home and Dean was above me with a black marker getting ready to write on my face.
I pushed him out of the car and ran to the backyard where the bonfire was starting. I could feel Ava’s anticipation through my mind and it made me very anxious. I began to let her take the lead. I did not pay attention to anyone Ava was sensing something, it was drawing us in like cheese to a mouse. I then smelt it, coffee and chocolate was so strong and divine, I needed to find what was the source of the smell. As I approached a man standing with his back towards me I knew he was the source of the smell. He then snapped his head in my direction and blue eyes piercing into mine when the word we as wolves search for came flying out in unison, “Mate”. I felt like I was being pulled to him, I was in a daze I did not even realize who was standing before me. Toby McAllister, the future Alpha of our pack, meaning I was destined to be their Luna.
He took his hand and raised it to my cheek, smiling down on me pecked my cheek, feeling the electrical tingles run wherever his body touched mine. His short dark hair, icy blue eyes, plump pink lips, he was captivating. He leaned down to my face and whispered in my ear, “Hello my sweet, and Happy Birthday.” I shivered as his hot breath fanned across my ear. He then took me into the woods near a small waterfall it was beautiful. “I know being mates our wolves will want to mate and be together immediately but I want to surprise everyone.” I just stared at him as he spoke his deep voice was like I was being hypnotized. “we can meet in secret but I want to wait until the night of my coronation in two months to tell everyone. Not only will they get their Alpha but their new Luna.”
I did not like this plan but he wanted to surprise the whole pack and I did not want to ruin that for him. “Okay, I will not tell a soul.” He smiled and leaned in pecking me sweetly, I felt like a million butterflies were flying around in my stomach. When I reached back to the bon fire everyone was having a great time and it seemed no one noticed that I was missing and then I see Toby over at the fire with his friends. When he looked my way I quickly turned away smiling, I just could not help how he made me feel. Then I felt a hand grab me and pulled me in between the house and garage. It was my older sister Ashley, “I saw you come out of the woods a moment ago, something is up so spill.” I swatted her arm away, “Why do you care? You always act like you can’t stand us and our family.”
“Because I found my mate a year ago and he rejected me so I have had a lot of resentment okay but I hate seeing you and our brother so close probably going to have amazing mates and lives and it is hard to see everyone happy knowing you cannot be happy yourself. Now spill.” I felt so bad for her none of us knew what happened to her we just thought she had not found her mate yet. “I met my mate, it is Toby and we are keeping this a secret he wants to surprise everyone the night of his coronation.” She smiled and hugged me, “I am happy for you Tatianna, really I am. First one said ‘Good morning beautiful hope you have a wonderful day.’ Second one said, ‘By the way this is Toby, I got your number from Jerry who has like everyone’s number. Anyways, meet me at nine o’clock at our spot.’ I smiled as I read the text my heart bursting with happiness, I texted him back and said, ‘Of course Jerry has my number we had a project last year together and I am glad he gave it you and I will be there see you tonight. Have a great day.’ As I grabbed my phone I seen Ashley standing behind me and she walked over and pulled me to sit by her on my bed. “Look, I know I have not really bonded but if I were you I would not tell Toby that the Head Warrior wants to train you privately Alphas get overly jealous and possessive.
If you do this, he could attack him and then that would be a bad first impression as Luna.” “Thanks for the advice Ashley I really appreciate it.” I hugged her and hurried off to meet Toby by the small waterfall. We were talking of our childhoods and what the future could possibly be like. We are going to take a few tubes for testing and then the doctor will be back in with the results.” I then heard the door click and the doctor walked in.
“Hello Ms. Quinn, I have received your test results and you have no bacteria virus.” “Ms. Quinn you are pregnant, possibly four to eight weeks with the levels HCG in your blood. We will not know more until we do an ultrasound.” My mind was all over the place and I did not know who to talk to he wanted me to keep this a secret but my sister knew about us. I quickly texted her and asked her to meet at the small waterfall behind my house. Twenty minutes later and I saw her standing there waiting for me. “Tatianna what is wrong you sounded panic on the phone.” “What I am about to tell you I need you promise to not tell anyone ever.” She nodded and I told her everything and she was silent for a brief moment which got me extremely nervous.

I want to look my best for him we haven’t even talked on the phone for three weeks because where they were going service sucked.

I felt a pair of arms engulfing me in a hug as he shut the door to apparently finish his prior engagement. “Tatianna are you okay?” I looked up through my teary eyes and saw my brother looking down at me, sadness written all over his face. “Why was Ashley in his room?” I just looked at him, he knew the answer, “Dean, he rejected me and I did not even get to tell him, and he banished me from the pack and I only have one hour to say my good byes and leave. My child and I are going to be alone.” I whispered the last part I was not going to tell him now I do not want my child to be raised by a heartless coward.
“No, you will not be alone.” He then knocked on the door. Toby swung his door open angrily and toby stared the same cold look back at him. “I Dean Quinn, break my connection to the Black Water Falls Pack and do not accept Alpha Toby McAllister as my Alpha and break all bonds with him and the pack.” Before he turned to leave he looked directly at Ashley, “I Dean Quinn also reject Ashley Quinn as my pack member, sister, and deny her of being my sister from this point on she is dead to me.” she grabbed her chest feeling the bond between our family snap from dean and fell on the floor unconscious I know her past and know her soul is already weak and his rejection assisted in weakening her more.Dean assisted me up as we left the undressed couple together on the floor. I swear I will become stronger and make those who hurt me pay the price!
