The interior design concept of Erin’s cottage is timeless, rustic, and contemporary at the same time. Sure, there’s a lot of wood and stone, but the scheme still feels bright and fresh. The kitchen’s sage green proves a natural choice for a pop of color that ties seamlessly through furniture and decorative accents. Its strong character begins in the rustic cottage living room, with its zoning of vintage rugs that have been cleaned and grounded in earth-toned conversation areas. A wooden coffee table, a leather sectional and a petrified wood side table all add layers of texture, along with a pair of contrasting poufs. The seamless flow continues in the kitchen-and-dining background, conveying a smooth and cohesive overall feel.
