My Cheating Husband Killed My Daughter Novel

My Cheating Husband Killed My Daughter Novel – My daughter died because her father bought her a chocolate birthday cake. When I begged him to take her to the hospital, he was busy caring for his ex’s child who had a fever. He was so concerned about his ex’s child that he forgot our daughter was allergic to chocolate.

On our daughter’s birthday, my husband bought a cake to celebrate with her. Soon after, he received an urgent call and left in a hurry. I stayed with our disappointed daughter, eating the cake, but she went into shock due to an allergy to the chocolate. Desperate, I held her and tried to get to the hospital, but no car would stop for us in the heavy rain. I had no choice but to call my husband, but my best friend’s anxious voice answered instead. “Please, take Ronnie to the hospital, he’s got a fever!” I couldn’t think straight and quickly said, “Aaron, our daughter is having an allergic shock!” Aaron impatiently hung up.

When I tried calling again, his phone was off. By the time we got to the hospital, my daughter’s lips were blue, and her breathing was faint. Amid the frantic calls from the doctors, I shakily signed the critical condition notice. On the fourth day, the doctor came out again. Instinctively, I got up, ready to sign, but noticed the doctor had no papers. I was hopeful and asked, “Doctor, has my daughter passed the critical stage?” The doctor silently shook his head, and my heart sank. “Go talk to your daughter.” I stumbled into the room.

My daughter, I couldn’t even bring myself to touch her face. In just a few days, she had wasted away to almost nothing. Seeing me, she slightly opened her eyes and whispered, “Daddy… Daddy…” Tears streamed down my face. “Mommy will call Daddy right now!” I pulled out my phone and dialed that familiar number. Please, answer the phone! Please, answer the phone! Just as my patience was about to run out, Aaron’s voice finally came through, “What now? Ronnie has a fever, I’m with Rita getting him an IV!” Ignoring everything else, I quickly said, “Aaron, our daughter wants to see you one last time. Will you come see her? She loves you the most!” Before Rita came back, Aaron adored our daughter, calling her a gift from God.

And she loved her tall, gentlemanly father the most. But Aaron was extremely impatient. “Anna! What are you up to now? How can you be so vicious, cursing your own child?” Then I heard Rita’s voice in the background, “Aaron! Come quick! Ronnie…” Before hanging up, he said, “Anna! You’re truly unfit to be a mother!” Yes, I wasn’t a good mother. I let my daughter pass away with regrets. “Mommy… I… don’t… want… Daddy… anymore.” My daughter spoke each word with difficulty, her breathing labored. I knew she was slipping away. “No! No!” That day, I lost my daughter forever.

Who would have thought that my lively, adorable daughter would die just because of a birthday cake? She didn’t have to die; if only her father had given her just a bit more love. But he chose to give all his affection to Ronnie instead. I sent Aaron a text, hoping he would sign the divorce agreement. Two days later, Aaron finally called me. Aaron’s voice was furious. “Where the hell have you been? You’ve gone too far! First, you curse our daughter to death, and now you’re divorcing me out of the blue! Is this how you are as a wife and mother? I really regret marrying you!” “Tonight is Ronnie’s birthday, and I’m hosting a party at home!

My parents and friends are all coming back. You’d better get back here and prepare!” I sneered inwardly and responded, “Sure, I’ll be right back!” “And don’t forget to bring back our daughter. My parents want to see her!” When I returned home, everyone had already arrived. They were all enjoying themselves—Aaron holding Ronnie, with Rita by his side. It was as if they were one happy family. “Daddy! Ronnie loves you so much!” Ronnie made a heart shape towards Aaron, his innocent words cutting deeply. Daddy? “What did you call him? Say that again!” My face twisted in anger, causing Ronnie to shrink closer to Aaron.

Rita looked aggrieved. “Anna, if you have any issues, come at me! Ronnie is still a child, a child without a father.” Ronnie’s father had died of cancer, but does that mean he can take away my daughter’s father? My daughter never got to see her father before she died. Meanwhile, Ronnie is shamelessly enjoying the fatherly love that should have been my daughter’s! Is this really fair? I pulled out the divorce agreement and placed it in front of Aaron. He was certain that I wouldn’t go through with the divorce if it meant leaving my daughter behind.

“Give me our daughter, and I’ll agree to the divorce!” I took out the box containing my daughter’s ashes and placed it on the table. “Here is your daughter! Your granddaughter! “Aaron, you killed her! You did! ” “Aaron! You knew our daughter was allergic to chocolate. Why did you buy her a chocolate cake?” “Even before she died, she wanted to see you one last time, but you heartlessly hung up the phone! For the sake of this woman’s child!” I pointed at Rita with a face full of hatred.
